Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to run this software? ▾
A Linux server (VPS) with at least 2 vCPU and 4 GB RAM, Docker installed, and a domain name. If you don't have any of this, we'll help you set it up. A basic VPS costs ₹500–1,500/month on DigitalOcean, Hetzner, or any Indian provider. We handle the deployment.
Do I need a technical background to manage this? ▾
No. Once it's installed, the day-to-day use requires no technical knowledge. The admin dashboard is a web interface — like using any website. For the initial installation, we do it for you during the onboarding call.
What happens when my license expires? ▾
Access to the software is suspended when your license period ends. Your data remains safe on your server. To restore access, simply renew your license. We'll notify you before expiry so there's no unexpected downtime.
Can I import my existing student data from Excel or Google Sheets? ▾
Yes, on the Enterprise plan we include a full data migration service. For Starter and Professional, you can add students manually (takes 2–3 minutes per student) or we can quote a one-time data migration service for a small fee.
Does the Lifetime license cover future major versions? ▾
The Lifetime license covers all updates within the current major version (v1.x) for 2 years. If a future major version (v2) is released, existing lifetime holders will receive a significant upgrade discount. You will never be forced to pay for updates to continue using what you already purchased.
Can I upgrade from Starter to Professional later? ▾
Yes. You pay the price difference for the remaining period of your license. Your data stays intact — it's the same software, just with the higher tier unlocked.
